A woman has sued Universal, claiming that she sustained injuries after riding the popular Stardust Racers Roller Coaster at the Epic Universe.
This lawsuit comes a week after a man passed away while riding the same attraction. On September 24, a woman who goes by the name of Sandi Streets filed a negligence claim against Universal City Development Partners, which is the firm that owns and operates the Universal Orlando Resort.
Inside the legal documents attained by local media outlets, Streets claimed she visited the park on April 30 before it officially opened up to the public as a business invitee.
While riding the Stardust Racers, she added how her head started to shake in a violent manner and slammed into her seat’s headrest throughout the ride’s duration.
As per the park’s website, the Stardust Racers attraction could reach speeds of up to 62 miles per hour as riders travel across the 5000 feet of the track.
This ride officially opened to the public with the rest of the Epic Universe in May of 2025. The woman further revealed in her claims that she suffered from serious permanent injuries as a result of it that included the likes of a disability and impairment, which she felt resulted in medical expenses that were so huge that it caused a major loss of earnings.
