The young woman who claims to be the missing British girl Madeleine McCann has said that she has ‘exciting news’.

21-year-old Julia Wendel made headlines after creating an Instagram account and claimed that she is Maddie, who disappeared at the age of four while on a family vacation in Portugal in 2007.

She said that she started questioning her identity after a comment from her grandmother.

Julia said that she has the same eye condition as Madeleine and even shared photos of the freckles on her legs.

According to reports, her claims became so widespread that Maddie’s parents, Gerry and Kate McCann, agreed to do a DNA test.

Even though police in Poland has already ruled out the possibility that Julia could be Maddie, she has maintained that she is the missing girl.

Julia’s family also said in a statement that they have family photos and birth certificate, adding that they had stopped Julia to stop her ‘lies and manipulations.’

“We always tried to help her get back on her feet. Julia has been of age for several years. She has moved out of the house,” they said.

“She refuses treatment, doesn’t take medicines regularly. Julia once wanted to be a singer, a model. She always wanted to be popular.”

Julia recently took to Instagram Stories and said that she has ‘exciting news’ as she revealed that she’s been helped by celebrity psychic Dr. Fia Johansson and a team of investigators.,

“Today was my luckiest day ever. My mentor, my everything comes to my country with so much love and exciting news,” she wrote.

“We have lots to reveal,” Julia went on. “I was with her team in the past couple of days, now my dream has come true. I am finally with Fia. Finally, I’m with Dr Fia. I still feel like I’m dreaming sitting with Dr Fia in the car […] When it’s time, everything will be published from Fia.”
