Sydney Sweeney is not getting much love after being slammed by fans for allegedly promoting Nazi Propaganda with her latest Great Jeans ad for American Eagle.
The clothing brand shared last week that the Euphoria star would be spearheading the latest campaign under the tagline Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans.
In one of the latest ads, the 27-year-old star is pictured wearing full denim from head to toe. She’s also seen walking towards a billboard of American Eagle and painted all over it.
In another one of her latest campaign videos, the actress is witnessed buttoning and zipping up her jeans while she’s lying down. A voiceover features Sweeney talking about how genes that are passed from parents to children often determine traits like hair, personality, and even eye color.
Sweeney who has blue eyes ends the video by staring dead straight into the camera and saying, ‘my jeans are blue!’ Several TikTok users and celebs including Doja Cat blasted the ad as being Nazi Propaganda and a racialized dog whistle while arguing about how it praised Sweeney’s genetic traits of blond hair and blue eyes.point 402 |
