In what is being described as a historic event, a trans woman has gone about winning the first-ever Miss Netherlands beauty pageant.
Therefore, this means her next stop would be competing for a top spot in the famous and world-renowned Miss Universe event and she claims to be more than excited with that thought.
Rikkie Valerie Kolle is just 22 but she is being hailed as the second woman to ever make history and enter the prestigious and world-famous Miss Universe Pageant.
She detailed more about her journey so far and how she is more than honored to get this respect. In the same way, she spoke about how life has transformed for her, after her transition, adding how she’s got zero regrets about the matter.
Referring to it as one of her life’s biggest blessings, let’s see how things go, she adds.
The new Miss Netherlands wore a red-toned gown and her shimmery crown. She was in love with how much praise and honor, and respect she was getting, despite people knowing about her transition journey.
But she was treated like no other and this is something that she feels was the best part of participating.
While receiving her crown from her predecessor, the winner broke down into tears. She feels that this was just a surreal moment and one that has become a memory to last for a last time.
After all, such moments don’t come often and you can only witness them once, she added.
The model was seen standing victorious and taking in the moment with a sigh of pride and relief. A total of 23 other nations will battle it out to compete against one another and they’ll all be having their eyes on the prize.
And this would comprise the most honorable and prestigious title of them all, which is Miss Universe. This is a moment that she and so many have been dreaming of but she knows that there can only be one winner and that is what makes this such a beautiful moment.
