A woman is causing a stir online after her story about suffering a serious case of sun poisoning went viral recently.
Sunbathing is one activity that so many people adore and simply cannot get enough of. But this woman’s recent experience of falling asleep on the beach left her appearing like an alien and she hopes no one has to go through what she did because it’s definitely not fun and games.
Many referred to her look as one that was similar to a chipmunk. And others couldn’t agree more. It was clear that her eyes were so swollen that they had shut.
“I saw my face double in size and erupt into this mighty rash. If this is something that can happen to me then it can sure well happen to anyone”- the woman explained.
She says that her face is so tender to touch and she even shared before and after images of herself. And it’s safe to say that the change is dramatic and has people thinking twice about resting underneath the sun.
The woman named Llio who hails from Wales in the United Kingdom says she reportedly went to Spain for a southern European holiday but little was she aware of the fact that this would be the end result of her love for the sun and the outdoors. And now, she’s making others aware that spending long hours can be super harmful.
Doctors spoke about the alarming condition and explained how it all arose because this woman wanted to get a healthy tan. But she failed to put in an adequate amount of sun protection. Hence, if you’re looking to get a shade or two darker, you might want to pile up on the sunscreen, they added.
