The famous gran from the UK who married her Egyptian toyboy is now reflecting back on her relationship after her recent divorce from him.

She says that she’s got zero regrets in terms of her separation from him but does wish she had listened to her family sooner who advised against marrying him.

The 83-year-old gran went viral when she spoke about how she met the most loving and handsome man who was from Egypt. But the world was startled to learn that he was 46 years younger than her and that clearly a massive deal.

But she failed to listen to what her critics and trolls had to say and went on to marry him in an exclusive ceremony. The duo went through several low phases in their relationship including the fact that the pandemic prevented them from traveling and seeing one another.

Now, 83-year-old Iris Jones says that she wants her family to know that she does feel terrible about ignoring all the advice they gave her. They were right all along and she wishes that if she listened to them, this would have never taken place.

“I know I made a huge mistake and the world keeps telling me that. But my biggest regret is not listening to my family, more than anything else”- the gran continued.

Now that the duo has split up for good, she is getting into the nitty-gritty details of her intimate life and how she thought he was the one because that’s how kind he was to her at the start.

But as months passed, she realized that he was nothing more than a lazy child who forced her to do his house chores. From launch to cooking and cleaning, she was expected to do it all with a smile on her face.

“I regret so much. I regret meeting him, marrying him, and not listening to my family. I am now certain that my best husband was my first husband and there can be no one else like him”- she adds.
