The Duke of Cambridge has no plans to see his brother Prince Harry until his explosive memoir is released even though they are currently staying only a short walking distance from each other.
Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are reportedly avoiding contact with Harry and Meghan as they do not know what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to disclose in Harry’s book and their documentary on Netflix.
Speaking to The Sun, Royal biographer Angela Levin said: “They have lost their chance of being trusted as the chance is they will record any conversation and use it against them.”
The author also said that William’s refusal to interact with Harry and Meghan is their ‘own fault for vastly exaggerating and being rude.’
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have arrived at their Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, which is only 380ft away from the Cambridges’ new Adelaide Cottage home.
Harry and Meghan also declined an invitation to stay with Prince Charles at his holiday house on the Balmoral estates.
Sources told The Mirror that the Prince of Wales had thought that the couple staying with him would be ‘a good opportunity for everyone to take stock and relax.’
“But the invitation was declined, as it has been before,” the insider has revealed, adding that the future King has not ‘wavered’ on his attempts to have a strong bond with his son ‘despite the attacks which seem to be coming with increased vigor.’
This comes after the 73-year-old was spotted going to church in Balmoral. Sources allege he still finds Harry and Meghan’s remarks about the Royal Family ‘painful’ and is ‘completely bewildered’ by their actions.
