William And Harry Stood Together With Wives Kate And Meghan To Honor The Queen For Her Lying In State Service In Westminster Hall


Prince William and Prince Harry stood together with their wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle to honor the beloved Queen for her lying in state service.

The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex put their differences aside as they walked side-by-side for the 38-minute royal procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall while Kate and Meghan traveled in cars.

The Princess of Wales accompanied Camilla, the Queen Consort, and Meghan joined the Countess of Wessex.

During the service, the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stood in formation facing the Queen’s casket on its purple-covered catafalque.

Harry and Meghan stood behind the group of royals, with Harry behind William and Meghan directly behind Kate.

This comes after their surprise walkabout together at Windsor Castle to meet mourners and view floral tributes laid outside the gates of the royal estate.

The late monarch’s coffin entered Westminster as the choir of Westminster Abbey and the choir of the King’s Chapel Royal, St. James’s Palace, sang Psalm 139.

When the Queen arrived, Charles, William and Anne saluted. Prince Andrew and Harry – who were barred from wearing their military uniforms – bowed their heads.

The opening prayer was read by the Archbishop of Canterbury, which the new monarch led the royals in reciting.

Chants of ‘God save the King’ could be heard as King Charles and the Queen Consort left Westminster Hall.
