Prince William will reportedly never watch Harry and Meghan’s inflammatory Netflix series.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have once again widened the rift between senior royals and their own family after accusing Britain of racism, branding the Queen’s Commonwealth legacy as Empire 2.0, and claiming the Royal Family was unconsciously biased.
While sources previously suggested the Palace might fight back against unjust and unfair claims made by the Montecito-based couple, multiple insiders now also confirmed that Prince William won’t watch the provocative series.
“He says he will never watch it and I know he definitely won’t,” a source told the Sunday Times. Asked to confirm this claim, another source responded by saying: “correct.”
Another insider with knowledge of the Royal Family further insisted that King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla will not watch Harry’s series either.
As the royal drama continues, friends of Prince William also insisted that the heir to the throne is gravely upset over Harry’s suggestion that he married Kate not for love but because she “fits the mould.”
In his docuseries, Harry said: “I think for so many people in the family, especially obviously the men, there can be a temptation or an urge to marry someone who would fit the mould as opposed to somebody who you perhaps are destined to be with.
“The difference between making decisions with your head, or your heart. And my mum certainly made most of her decisions – if not all of them – from her heart. And I am my mother’s son.”
While Harry didn’t mention his brother’s name, experts believe the comments were clearly a jab at Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton.
