The Prince of Wales is being hailed as an absolute savior for inviting his brother Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle for the Windsor walkout.
According to local media outlets, the invitation was provided at the 11th hour but despite that, both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made it a point to come.
The fact that Prince William managed to put his differences aside during this difficult time of grief really meant a lot to people, as he wished to make the crowds happy. Meanwhile, insiders were also seen praising the Prince of Wales for acting mature as this is something that his grandmother would have loved.
The news comes after shocking reports were publicized about Prince Charles telling Prince Harry not to bring Meghan Markle with him to visit the Queen during her final moments. But now, this positive gesture is definitely a breath of fresh air.
Many hope Meghan Markle won’t be feeling left alone after something like this as all four were pictured smiling in their black outfits while meeting hundreds that had lined up to meet and greet them on the occasion.
The Sussexes’ friend and journalist revealed through his account on Twitter that the invite was indeed made at the last minute. He also hinted at how Prince William was more than ready and willing to extend an olive branch out to his brother and this seemed like the perfect time to do just that.
“It’s a great way to melt the ice. It is definitely a significant moment in the history of the relationship held between both boys. And it couldn’t have come at a better time”- the journalist continued.
Tonight’s surprise appearance is being recalled by many as the first time ever since 2020 that both men decided to put all of their past behind them and do what’s right for their family and country.
