Following his notorious slap during the Oscars, Will Smith faces even more humiliation as his wife’s former lover sets to write a tell-all book.
In his new song, 29-year-old R&B singer August Alsina made a reference to his romantic relationship with Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith and promised to spill the intimate details about their affair.
“Well, of course some s**t is bound to go down when you tangled up with the world’s favorite,” Alsina sang in a snippet of his track Shake the World.
It is believed the word ‘tangled’ was used as a reference to the singer’s relationship with Jada Pinkett who back in 2020 admitted to having an affair with Alsina and call it “entanglement.”
According to sources, the New Orleans-born singer, who was just 23 when he hooked up with Jada Pinkett, is also gearing up to write a raunchy, tell-all book about the pair’s affair and their s*x life.
“August is getting ready to sign a big money book deal which will detail his romantic liaisons with Jada,” a source said, The Sun reported.
“He has always maintained that Will gave him permission to sleep with Jada, something they have publicly denied.”
The insider went on to suggest that Alsina will not only reveal what it was like being with Jada but will also go into detail about spending time in Will Smith’s home when he was busy filming.
“August will go into detail about his time with Jada and will also speak about how he spent time living in homes owned by Will when he was away filming,” the source added.
“There are several publishers bidding for the books and August is lining up the best deal. He knows there are a lot of people fascinated by his story and is happy to tell it.”
Jada admitted to her affair with the young singer back in 2020 when she and her husband addressed the issue on the Red Table Talk show.
“It all started with him just needing some help, me wanting to help his health, his mental state,” Jada said at the time.
“The outpouring for him from our family was initially about his health. We found all those different resources to help pull him through and from there you and I were going through a very difficult time.”
She added: “As time went on, I got into a different type of entanglement with August.”
