BREAKING: Will Smith Faces Getting SACKED From Bad Boys 4 After Slapping Chris Rock In The Face


Will Smith faces getting banned from Bad Boys 4 after his infamous Oscars incident during which he slapped comedian Chris Rock in the face.

Following his “inexcusable” actions, the 53-year-old Hollywood legend and the King Richard star spoke out and apologized to 94th Academy Awards presenter Chris Rock for slapping him in the face over his joke about Jada Pinkett.

A written apology, however, will likely not be enough to set the record straight, whereas the Academy has already launched a formal review into last Sunday’s events.

Among other disciplinary actions, the Men in Black actor faces losing his Oscar for King Richard and could potentially be banned from all of the Academy’s future events.

Amid the fallout from his on-air assault, Smith also faces getting sacked from Bad Boys.

As The Hollywood Reporter revealed, Sony has brought the movie’s fourth installment to a complete halt, whereas the actor’s reunion with Martin Lawrence remains glazed in doubts.

Meanwhile, it has also come to light that Netflix’s production of Fast and Loose, which features Will Smith, has been slowed down following the incident at Dolby Theatre.

According to the experts in the industry, studios working with Smith now have to reassess how their association with the actor might affect their projects.

The news comes as the disgraced actor resigned from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences saying he is ready to face consequences for his “shocking, painful and inexcusable” actions.

In a statement obtained by Variety, Smith wrote: “The list of those I have hurt is long and includes Chris, his family, many of my dear friends and loved ones, all those in attendance, and global audiences at home.

“I betrayed the trust of the Academy. I deprived other nominees and winners of their opportunity to celebrate and be celebrated for their extraordinary work. I am heartbroken.”

Concluding his apology, the Oscar-winning actor said he remains “committed to doing the work to ensure that I never again allow violence to overtake reason.”
