BREAKING: Thousands Of People Evacuated As ‘Out-Of-Control’ Wildfire Rages On In California


An out-of-control wildfire that is destroying everything in its path has sparked mass evacuations in California.

Emergency has been declared after a raging fire began spreading near Yosemite National Park and causing havoc in rural, mountain communities in the area.

According to the latest reports, the fire started at the foothill of Sierra Nevada before spreading across the region.

Despite the best efforts of more than 2,000 firefighters, the fire could not be immediately contained. As of Sunday, the wildfire remained zero percent contained.

As a result of the looming danger, as many as 6,000 people were evacuated with more evacuations on the horizon as the blaze continues spreading.

So far, at least ten buildings have already been destroyed, whereas the fire still poses a threat to thousands of homes in the region.

Meanwhile, a state of emergency has been declared in Mariposa County after fire crews failed to contain the fire.

“High tree mortality and dense fuels are throughout the fire area. Fire evacuation and advisories remain in effect. Damage inspection teams are beginning their assessment of the areas affected by the fire.”

As of this writing, it is not clear what caused the fire. It has been confirmed, however, that the blaze started spreading eastward from the foothills of Sierra Nevada.

The latest Cal Fire update shows that the fire remains uncontained and that the blaze already burned over 14,000 acres.

“The public is reminded to stay vigilant on current fire conditions. Please continue to adhere to road closures and evacuation orders. Please drive slowly and yield to emergency personnel in the area,” the agency warned.
