Gene Hackman’s partner Betsy Arakwa might have become so weak after suffering the rare and deadly rat disease at the couple’s luxury home.

Medical experts shed light on how she might have entered a disoriented state, while her husband didn’t even realize what was wrong with him as he was struck with dementia.

Authorities tried to piece the puzzle together, linking their sudden deaths. On February 9, Betsy collected the pair’s dog from the vet where the canine underwent a surgical procedure.

That might be why the pet was found dead only a few feet away from her body. The cops similarly confirmed that on the day of her death, she sent out an email to her massage therapist before paying a visit to the grocery store in the afternoon hours.

CCTV footage showed her wearing a mask, which her friends claim is very normal for someone like her. She never wished to transmit any of her illnesses to her partner and that’s why she always played it safe.

But who knew that her own death would cause him to die, possibly due to starvation and not taking his medications on time, as the couple had hired no house help, despite their advancing age and their wealth and fame.
