The thought of marrying someone and finding out later that they’re actually not the person you imagined them to be can be daunting for obvious reasons.
But now, a new report is shedding light on how one couple turned out to be first cousins but had no clue until after they were married. However, if that is something you think would sicken them out, well, think again.
The couple says they’re madly in love with each other, since the day they met. It’s been three years since they said ‘I Do’ and for them, it’s been worth it by all means.
Figuring out that they were relatives was just a minor ordeal for them. And they’re not letting that get in the way, despite so many other people having major reservations regarding it.
Tylee and Nick Waters who hail from Utah explained more details regarding their situation.
And that was after they found out that they were more than just man and wife. The duo broke the internet when they shared the most adorable footage of them having a great dance session on the Sweet Home Alabama tune. And it came with a caption that left people in awe.
“Three years into our marriage but we just found out recently that we are cousins. Is that something strange or not?”- the duo added. And yes, people thought they were kidding at first but the couple wrote, we wish that we were but that’s not the case.
Some netizens felt that was a crime and shouldn’t be allowed or legal while others didn’t have such a negative reaction. They thought the couple should follow their hearts and see the bigger picture.
The pair says that obviously they were taken aback at first and wondered if they should stay together or not. And after thinking long and hard, they couldn’t imagine a life without having one another by their side.
