Ryan Reynolds chose to hurl the f-bomb at his wife, Blake Lively, rather than miss a call from Bill Murray.
The Deadpool actor recalled leaving 40 mesages for Murray in an attempt to try to get him to participate in the documentary John Candy: I Like Me during an appearance on Thursday for the movie in New Jersey, as per The Daily Mail.
Reynolds finally got the iconic star’s phone number from a good friend of his and even left a voicemail requesting for the chance to pick Murray’s brain over the life of late fellow comedian John Candy. ‘I will come to you. I will do whatever it takes’- he recalled saying in this message.
Later, the Free Guy actor found himself stepping out with Lively for a formal event. ‘I am there with my wife and we’re about to walk in, and my phone buzzes, and I look at it’- Reynolds mentioned. ‘It says Bill Murray and I go Bill Murray!’- he continued.
In reply to that, he recalled how his wife and mother of four kids whispered to him, ‘We have to go in!’- and he replied ‘F**k you!’
Reynolds revealed how the Groundhog Day celeb mentioned he would get back to him about this movie, after which he left another 40 texts in an admittedly desperate attempt to wrap things up while filming this project.
