The famous television hosts from The View are entering into a new controversy after startling remarks were made about each other’s personal lives.

According to reports from local media outlets, the incident arose after Whoopi Goldberg went candid and revealed during her own interview how the only reason that Joy Behar got married was so that someone could pull the plug for her when it’s time. 

And as you can imagine, that didn’t sit down well with her work colleague and friend. 

The twist arose while the pair were busy talking about celebrating one of their pal’s wedding day. And then what seemed to be a very playful chat soon went from declining invites to being a true bridesmaid. In the end, Goldberg really took out the dagger with her comment about Behar’s personal life. 

It was definitely a moment of awkward silence as the hosts started to share some personal experiences including the big costs linked to attending the wedding. And while most people were on the same page at the start, Whoopi preferred to be quieter than others. 

Moreover, when she was told to put in her perspective and weigh in with her own thoughts related to the matter, she really did throw a huge bombshell and that wasn’t something a lot of the people saw coming. 

“I just do not go to weddings”- she remarked. 

And that’s when Joy tries to shut her down and points out boldly how Whoopi did go to the wedding ceremony of her second-time partner, Steve Janowitz. But the Whoopi mentioned how hers was the only exception. And that’s when she chimed with the rather controversial comment to include. 

“I went because not only were you in love but because you guys wished to ensure that you had someone by your side who would pull the plug”- and that left Joy stunned.
