A wedding guest has reportedly been slammed for potentially missing her best friend’s big day because she claims there are no vegan food options available.
While for many, food carries great significance on a daily basis but this incident is taking the word extreme to a whole new level.
One bride to be revealed her utter dismay and disappointment against her friend for opting to skip her big day because she claims there were no vegan items on the menu of the dinner.
The friend named Rachel says that her 30 year old soon to be bride means the world to her and although she may have opted to help her in planning the event, she felt offended that there was nothing on the menu that she could eat.
Adding how it would be nice to see the bride take into consideration her dietary condition, the woman adds that sometimes you’re left with difficult decisions to make and this just might be one of them.
However, the internet did not buy Rachel’s explanation, adding how it was beyond outrageous to skip an entire event because the menu failed to cater to her needs.
The worried bride to be mentioned how she was informed about Rachel’s tantrums before the big day had arrived and it was just not okay for someone to behave this way.
The bride put up her situation on Reddit to take other people’s opinions and see what others had to say regarding the matter. Moreover, the bride felt that maybe it was her fault and hence now she stands to lose her friendship with Rachel.
“She wanted vegan and I was doing a BBQ event and that’s why there were no options available for her to eat. Adding another vegan dish would cost extra,” the bride explained.
