It seems to many that Prince Harry is wading his way into the world of US Politics again as the Duke of Sussex gears up to lecture the UN assembly on poverty today.
Sources from local media outlets revealed recently that the Prince made his grand arrival with Meghan Markle by his side. The couple was beaming with bright smiles as they entered the UN Assembly building where Harry will reportedly speak on a number of issues such as climate change, poverty, and the very controversial overturning of the Roe v.Wade rule by the country’s supreme court.
It is believed that Harry is not happy with the way things are rolling out in the country and according to him, so many citizens are being stripped of their rights in the US.
This is the first time that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped out for any major event together in public since they were last pictured returning from the United Kingdom for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Event.
The speech is being delivered in honor of Nelson Mandela day in New York City and many were shocked to see Harry come forward with the decision to speak on such serious issues, despite being a British national.
Harry is expected to launch an attack primarily against the country’s judiciary for the way they have denied so many innocent women the right to abortion, revealed an inside source.
The 37-year-old had constantly called the overturning of Roe v. Wade an international assault on people’s democracy and freedom. In the same way, he condemned the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine where thousands of innocent civilians were losing their lives on a daily basis.
Interestingly, it is believed that the comments of the speech were heard in a nearly empty room at the UN building on Monday.
The Prince’s appearance has come at a time when his wife vowed to take the streets of DC with her husband and urged others to come forward and stand for change before it was too late.
