Grant Barr was a 37-year-old banker who worked as an alternative funds lending specialist with BNY Mellon. He disappeared on January 28 while visiting Estepona, which is a coastal town on Spain’s Costa del Sol.

As shared by People magazine, Barr had traveled to the area for a sailing getaway, and that was right after his family members described it as the most difficult breakup.
