Moscow has issued a warning on Sunday that several countries are ready to supply Tehran with nuclear weapons, as both Russia and China condemned the US attack on nuclear facilities in Iran.
Dmitry Medvedev, who is the head of Putin’s Security Council, mentioned on Saturday that the American airstrike only resulted in minimal damage to Tehran’s nuclear sites, which included the Fordow enrichment plant.
Medvedev failed to specify which nations were on the list to arm Tehran and even reiterated how those attacks would not come to an end, as Russia’s ally in the Middle East wouldn’t stop it from acquiring more nuclear weapons.
This news comes as the foreign minister of Iran shared how he would be traveling to Moscow to meet with Putin to discuss the countermeasures. ‘We do enjoy a great strategic partnership and we always consult with one another and coordinate about the various positions’- the message read to the Russian media.
