Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky is not happy and has warned about decisions without Ukraine that would no bring peace and stability in the region.
The news comes after Trump shared that he would be meeting Putin in Alaska next week for a peaceful summit.
Zelensky ruled out ceding any territory to Russia as Putin continued his offensive last night, killing four people and wounding 10.
Writing on social media, the Ukrainian head of state mentioned: ‘Any decisions against us, any decisions without Ukraine, are also decisions against peace. They would be achieving nothing’- it read.
Ukrainians would not be giving up on their lands to the occupier, it continued. He similarly shed light on how Ukraine was ready for real decisions that would bring peace, and only a dignified kind of peace would be accepted, without revealing too many details.
The post shared today comes after Trump decided to host Russia’s President Putin for a Peace Summit in Alaska without inviting Zelensky. Despite this announcement, two people were killed in a strike on a civilian bus in Kherson, and two more were killed in the Russian FPV drone strike on a car that took place on Friday night.
