Depp took this opportunity to address the rise in fake profiles and warned so many of his fans that there were plenty of fake accounts on the rise and they were all pretending to be him.

Therefore, he asked his fans to keep an eye out for that and also reportedly spoke about how those accounts were capitalizing on public interest in regards to the star, right after the trial had concluded.
