At the request of Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, I am directing the Secretary of War to provide all the needed troops to protect the war-ravaged state of Portland and any of our ICE facilities under attack by Antifa and other domestic terrorists, Trump declared on Truth Social.

The President’s announcement comes on the heels of several high-profile attacks against ICE officers and steps shared by US Attorney General Pam Bondi to crack down on those who attack federal personnel.

Portland has long been a hotbed for Antifa activities. Rioters have constantly attacked and laid siege to the ICE facility inside Portland, as per the Department of Homeland Security.
