Princess Kate was beaming in red this morning as she arrived to say hello to the crowds while attending a public event with her husband by her side.

The gathering was for the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards and all eyes were definitely on the grand performance put up by the soldiers over there.

But among the wonderful display of talented soldiers on display, there were a few other aspects that really did take the Princess by surprise and one of them had to be this young man.

The child was caught doing a backward flip and it’s safe to say that the Duchess was amazed at what was going on.

It was clear that 9-year-old Thomas Lucas stole the show by miles. The Duchess had to personally come by his side and tell him how great and talented he was while giving him a pat on the back.

Kate was very friendly and was her true gracious self and many fans loved that about her. She continued to smile and meet and greet people as they showed nothing but love and affection to her.

Kate and William met all of the officers there that were positioned for the event. This happened to be William’s first time attending this prestigious event on St. David’s Day.

It was the first Battalion Welsh Guards event in Windsor. And the fact that William was given the honor really said a lot as he was now the head or the Colonel of the Regiment.

Kate Middleton looked so ladylike with her fitted red attire and a stunning black hat that gave her that regal aura that she’s known for pulling off so well.

This new position William was previously served by his father King Charles. And then in December last year, we saw it be handed down to his eldest son.
