BREAKING: Beyonce Vows To Remove Controversial Slur From New Renaissance Track But REFUSES To Apologize


Singing superstar Beyonce has come under fire for using a controversial ableist slur in one of her latest Renaissance tracks.

According to local media reports, the singer was bashed online for hurting her fans’ sentiments which many felt should be reverted by making a change in the song.

Now, it has been confirmed that Queen B will be moving ahead with the decision to remove the slur but at the same time, she has refused to offer any apology on the matter.

The news comes just a few weeks after superstar Lizzo had apologized to her fan following for making a similar mistake, facing so much backlash for the same work being included inside her leading track.

Beyonce is a 40-year-old global role model and that’s why so many fans and critics felt she needed to behave more responsibly on the matter.

The song is one in which the celeb collaborated with leading rapper Drake. It has the lyrics: Sp**zin’ on that ass. s**z on that ass!”- which many found to be so wrong.

This term could mean freak out or go ballistic in America but around the globe, it’s common to refer to it as the meaning spastic.

Moreover, some revealed how the word is commonly referred to in the derogative context to describe people with disabilities, including those patients suffering from cerebral palsy, one source explained.

A statement by the singer’s representatives spoke in detail about how the word was not used in any form of intentional manner to cause harm or to offend anyone. Hence, now, it would be replaced in the lyrics. But while many expected the superstar to issue an apology, she is yet to do so.

So many of Beyonce’s fans feel that there is no form of excuse acceptable for such behavior, adding that it was a huge form of ignorance on Beyonce’s part.
