The British Royal Family is really putting in some serious efforts for President Trump as he’s expected to arrive in the UK soon for a state visit.
The Palace shared in July this year that the US Head of State and his wife Melania will be making her way to attend a state visit to the UK from September 17 to 19. King Charles III will be hosting the couple at Windsor Castle, as per sources.
Trump will be the first American president to be invited for two state visits by a British monarch. The late Queen Elizabeth II hosted him and Melania Trump in 2019 during the first administration.
Ingrid Seward, who is the editor in chief for Majesty magazine, and the author for My Mother and I, was seen speaking to Fox News Digital about how royal watchers could expect the full pomp and pageantry that the royal family is best known for.
This particular state visit is very signficant and everyone is calling the soft power of the monarchy. King Charles cannot do anything remotely political or even say anything remotely political because of the constitution of the country.
He’s the head of state, and he’s the monarch at the same time but he does not like to get involved in politics by any means. But such an event will only work to strengthen the ties between both countries.
