The Vatican has responded to the extremely disrespectful image of him as the Pope that he posted just days after former Pope Francis’ death.

Despite the image getting published through his account on Truth Social, he denied having anything to do with it. But that’s not all, he also said that he didn’t know how it got up there, but his wife didn’t mind.

He shared how Melania Trump found it cute and that she approved of it. This comes just a week after he responded to a reporter who asked him who he felt was the next ideal candidate for the Pope.

Now, the Vatican is responding to the image that has caused controversy around the globe and people are just having a hard time accepting this image, especially Catholics who feel it’s not funny and indeed very shameful.

Former Italian PM shared his thoughts on the pictures, slamming them as offensive to believers and an insult to the institution. Meanwhile, Cardinal Dolan says that the President had the last laugh and this was not good!

The NY State Catholic Conference also mentioned that there was nothing funny or clever about it. Trump responded by laughing and saying that somebody did it for fun and that nobody should take it seriously. ‘It’s only for a good laugh!’- the president mentioned.
