Missing Plane Alaska: Frantic Search Continues As Flight VANISHES From Radar


Tragic reports are speaking about a flight carrying 10 people on board vanishing over Alaska.

The incident has led to authorities rolling out a frantic search to determine the plane’s whereabouts after it went missing on the radar.

The Bering Air Caravan plane was said to be overdue when it failed to arrive at its destination in Nome at 4 pm local time.

The plan was to travel from Unalakleet with nine passengers and one pilot on board. Crews are now frantically working to establish the plane’s final coordinates but due to poor weather conditions, the area’s visibility has hampered the chances for an effective air search.

A Coast Guard plane equipped with special systems that allow to locate objects and people in poor visibility conditions has arrived in the are to carry out a grid pattern search over the water and the shoreline.

‘We are currently responding to a report of the missing Bering Air Caravan’- the Nome Volunteer Fire Department shared in a new statement.

They are also carrying out active searches on the ground from Nome and from the White Mountain as their air search is limited due to poor weather, the statement mentioned.
