US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is making sure the world knows that America is not afraid of all the threats coming out of China this morning.

The news comes after China declared that they were ready to enter into any kind of war with the US after it chose to raise tariffs on its products.

The alarming threats did take many by surprise, Hegseth said that America was ready to enter into war with China, adding that it was ready to fight if and when it needed to.

That was followed up by, ‘We are prepared. Those who long for peace must prepare for war,’ he shared while stressing the importance of staying strong.

America left many countries unhappy, including China, Mexico, and Canada, after it chose to raise tariff,s causing a hit to their economies. This also means that regular products sold in the US would not be more expensive, leading to a crunch economy situation that many financial analysts are not happy about.

The country also shared how it was right now busy building its military because that’s the first step to success. ‘We live in a very dangerous world and there are many powerful countries that have a very different ideology than us!’- he concluded.
