An urgent meeting has reportedly been called by European Union leaders to discuss ways to help counter the Russian war machine.
Inside sources revealed how this means tighter sanctions for Russia and more weapons for Ukraine as both nations battle it out.
Meanwhile, so many ministers present at the meeting were quick to shed light upon how these new developments could actually mean that Europe now faces the return towards the iron curtain, moments after the Ukraine invasion.
On the other hand, UK prime minister Boris Johnson reportedly condemned the shelling of Ukraine’s major nuclear plant which is also reportedly deemed to be Europe’s biggest nuclear plant too.
Boris Johnson was also quick to signal how it was now high time that a UN meeting was called upon before it was too late because attacking Europe’s biggest nuclear plant with shells is definitely an alarming red flag of Russia’s intentions.
For this reason, there will now be a series of meetings across Brussels where all the allies are expected to meet and discuss this important agenda.
The British Home Secretary is currently visiting Poland’s border that is aligned with Ukraine to assess the situation taking place over there.
UK’s foreign secretary has also made it clear how her nation will do whatever it takes to prevent Russia from moving forward with the war and that means tougher sanctions across the board while supplying an array of weapons in bulk to all the Ukrainian forces involved.
At the NATO meeting held today in Brussels, all nations vowed to display unity in challenging Russian President Vladimir Putin’s call for an invasion of Ukraine.
“It is obvious that sanctions are now taking a toll on Russia’s economy. They are struggling after being badly hit from the West from all angles”- explained experts.
