According to local media reports, some hardcore fans are actually willing to sell their kidneys to raise enough money. for the phone. And that’s why Thailand’s Red Cross has been left with no choice but to issue a warning against such startling behavior.

Many say that the dream of the new iPhone is one that’s a far-fetched reality because it’s just too expensive and seeing the inflation rates at a peak globally means it’s hard to make a living with such a downturn. Where people are finding it hard to afford food and fuel, luxury items are a dream.

The news comes as images of people put up by a beauty clinic show a group of people holding up new iPhone devices and showing surgical scars after reportedly getting kidneys removed in return for money. And that’s just so they could get their hands on the device.

It’s almost as gruesome as it sounds, and the eerie images are also surfacing across social media.

We’re not quite sure how real or fake those pictures are, but one thing is for sure. They’re not sending out the right message. Moreover, they could even be motivating other vulnerable people to do the same, and that’s why the Red Cross in Thailand is asking people to stop this behavior.
