President Trump just took an extraordinary measure to ensure his commitment to good law and order in the country.
The US President announced that the federal government would be taking over policing Washington, DC, in what many called a shocking and bold move.
During a raucous press conference at the White House, Trump shared how the federalization of the capital police force and the deployment of hundreds of national guard troops to the streets was the right call to rescue our nation’s capital from incidents like crime, bedlam, bloodshed, and squalor or even worse matters.
‘We are going to do everything to get our capital back’- he continued.
Flanked by members of the cabinet, Attorney General Pam Bondi, US Attorney for DC Jeanine Pirro, and the director for the FBI, Kash Patel, amongst others, Trump mentioned how he had instructed the federal law enforcement officials to deploy aggressive mechanisms against the city’s worst enemies.
Trump mentioned, ‘You spit and we hit and we can hit real hard’- during the press conference. The deployment began over the weekend and Trump says that there will now be zero tolerance against anyone, putting special emphasis on wild youth, drugged-out maniacs, and homeless individuals.
