Shocking video footage from the battlegrounds of Ukraine has shown the exact moment where two Russian aircraft were shot down and one helicopter was destroyed.

A loud call for cheer and celebration could also be heard as Ukrainian forces welcome the news as glad tidings, moments after Russia tricked the country into a ceasefire, and instead started to attack innocent civilians.

The aircraft was shot down in Chernihiv and Mykolaiv oblasts which is where the forces also happened to be present earlier. Moreover, this is also deemed to be the exact same location where a Russian helicopter had also been destroyed by Ukraine’s forces near Kyiv.

This morning, Ukraine’s president Zelensky blasted NATO for failing to declare Ukraine as a no-fly zone as he felt that would hamper Russia’s plans of killing innocent civilians. However, NATO failed to respond to the demand as they felt that it would further the ongoing crisis taking place between both countries.

The video shared from the frontlines is now going viral on social media with many calling the incident a major victory for Ukraine as the two aircraft suddenly drop from the sky at rapid speed.

Sources who shot the video from the battleground have gone on to claim that this incident from today took place in the northern part of Ukraine. And just moments as the Russian jets go down in smoke, two pilots can be witnessed from the sky as they parachute their way, fleeing away from the aircraft.

Now, local media reports have shared how one of the pilots is reported to have been killed in the incident while the other managed to survive.

Recent footage showed the surviving pilot being covered in blood and trying his best to answer a series of questions being put forward by Ukraine’s forces.
