Los Angeles was brought to a standstill recently on Sunday as thousands of protesters flooded the downtown streets and stormed onto the 101 Freeway.
The protesters were seen chanting slogans against the new Government and slammed President Donald Trump for his abrupt changes in policies including the migrant crackdown.
Hundreds were pictured waving flags from Mexico in protest against Trump’s sweeping deportation efforts and orders to expand migrant arrests.
This sparked a scene of defiance and chaos in the culturally diverse metropolis. What began as a very peaceful ordeal near Placita Olivera soon turned into the exact opposite as it swiftly grew into a moment of unstoppable behavior.
‘The real criminal is the White House!’- one protester’s sign read while another spoke badly about Trump. More signs had to do with MAGA that some felt represented the terms, ‘Mexicans Always Get Across’.
Another boldly declared that they would not be moving from here and could only be moved by force as this was their right to protest.
The incident led to long lines of traffic accumulating with many celebrities expected to arrive at the Grammy Awards tonight.
