Donald Trump just completed the goal of sending in troops this week after announcing that the DC National Guard would be shifted to fight crime inside the District of Columbia.
He also confirmed that federal officials would be officially taking over the local police force. Now the question is if the American president will stop there or would other cities will be next?
After spending a few months debating about how to best achieve the humiliation and cowing of the liberal based urban center, Trump is taking a second go at it, and it seems to be on track for success.
In the past, he ordered National Guard troops to start protection duties inside Los Angeles and the surrounding area over ICE deportation raids.
That deployment is now down to less than 300 as federal officials continue to fight with local leaders in legal battles over the entire matter being a show of politics and nothing else.
This week, we saw federal attorneys battling it out with California inside the court on whether or not the National Guard troops should be deployed in the state. Sources claim that this is just the start, as Trump feels it’s time to tackle the emergency crime situation before matters get worse in the US.
