New President Donald Trump is not getting much love from the masses after making bold claims about America’s exit from the World Health Organization.
While the country’s head of state did roll out a series of executive orders yesterday, people are having a hard time digesting the fact that he’s now ordering the exit from the leading global health agency.
Many international leaders have urged Donald Trump to rethink his decision and the devastating impact this can have on other nations.
However, the matter seems to have fallen on deaf ears. Trump says that the WHO mishandled the entire COVID-19 pandemic and a host of other leading health crises.
Therefore, he wants America not to be involved in any of its practices as it has no control over acting as an independent body. He also shared how the agency gets influenced by politics portrayed by different WHO member states.
He slammed all the unfair onerous payments from America that were disproportionate compared to other leading countries such as China that didn’t have to pay that much.
