Donald Trump is all set to be sworn in as the country’s 47th president.
He will reportedly place his hands on two Bibles during the swearing-in ceremony on Monday which would mark the end of the 60th presidential inauguration ceremony.
Trump spoke about how the religious book is very meaningful to him as it was provided to him by his mother in 1955.
This was to mark his Sunday Church Primary School graduation and that’s something that he holds very dear to his heart.
The religious text was a 1953 revised edition that was rolled out by Thomas Nelson and Sons in New York. Trump’s name was published in bold across the lower part of the front cover.
Inside the cover, you can find signatures of church officials, the inscription of his name, and more details of when it was rolled out to him.
Furthermore, it is said to be very sentimental and precious. In addition to this, he will also be required to place his hand on the Lincoln Bible that was used during the first sign-in ceremony in 1861 to swear in the 16th American president.
The event will be held indoors for the first time in more than 40 years. This has to do with Trump’s call to make the switch due to freezing cold temperatures.
