King Charles was seen showing Canada support recently when it was shared with the world that Trump would launch trade wars.
On Monday, Charles met outgoing Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau who clashed with the American president at his private estate in Norfolk.
Trump has since then been mocking the PM for months and even made threats to annex Canada, of which Charles is head of state. Trump expressed how he would like to make Canada the 51st state and even referred to the PM as Governor Trudeau.
After having his meeting with Charles, Trudeau posted through X that the pair discussed the matter in detail. ‘We spoke about all of those issues that matter to Canadians the most,’ he continued.
This includes a round of talks regarding Canada’s sovereign and independent future.
The source close to Trudeau and the King mentioned that it was business as usual and everything was heightened on a level of significance.
Canada is on the King’s mind right now, especially as Trudeau exits and the new Canadian prime minister comes into action.
