Donald Trump is not afraid of speaking his mind and we saw that during a recent interview with Elon Musk.

Both men were inseparable during the interview and it was interesting to see how the American president spoke highly of Musk and even added that he did try to find someone smarter than the tech billionaire.

That statement did take the Tesla CEO by storm but Trump reassured him that despite searching, he couldn’t find anyone smarter or better to do the job.

This is why Musk is here, he continued. And that’s why Musk is given the lead role of heading the DOGE or the Department of Government Efficiency.

The interview was for Fox News’ Sean Hannity where the president reflected more on what attracted him to Musk and even explained what the public needed to know about the leading cost-cutter.

‘You know, I wish to find someone that’s smarter than him’ – Trump mentioned and then he laughed stating that he couldn’t. If that’s not what we call an ego boost for Musk then we’re not quite sure what is.

‘This is why I settled on this guy’- Trump stated while pointing his fingers toward Musk and as one can expect, the billionaire was all smiles.
