The US Senate just passed President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill.
The document is stated as being a huge piece of tax cuts and spending legislation that would be the cornerstone of the White House’s agenda.
In the very tight vote, the legislation passed both the upper chamber with zero Democratic votes and a few Republican defections.
Many did vote against it, including Susan Collins and Rand Paul, who are leading Republican senators. But the vote of Vice President JD Vance mattered the most in the end as he managed to ensure the tie-breaking vote to pass the huge bill, giving a final score of 51-50.
Trump shared the glad tidings on his Truth Social account and replied to reporters who congratulated him on the passing of the bill in the Senate.
‘We will all go back and celebrate!’- he shared while speaking at the immigration roundtable in Florida. His aides immediately burst into major applause upon hearing the news.
The bill will now head to the House of Representatives to fix any differences that may have arisen between their versions before it gets signed by the President of the USA.
The bill reportedly extends most of the tax cuts that Trump introduced in 2017, including slashing rates on estates.
