Donald Trump was seen stepping up the pressure against Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday with a stark warning.
America’s President says that not signing the peace deal with Russia would result in annihilation and that’s not something that he should deny.
Trump shared the message that seemed more like a threat than anything else to reporters at the White House, where he used the occasion to garner more pressure on the leader from Ukraine.
Trump explained that it was about time that Zelenskyy understood the matter and was more appreciative of American aid if he wished for Washington’s assistance.
Similarly, he spoke about getting frustrated after the summit at the Oval Office on Friday that ended up more like a shouting match.
Trump was asked by the press what Zelenskyy needed to do to get talks with the US back on track.
For starters, he spoke about him showing less attitude and more gratitude to America for all that they’ve done. Similarly, he says that the nation has stuck with Ukraine in dire times.
‘We have given them so much more than Europe and Europe should have given much more than us!’- he shared.
