Donald Trump has shared a heartfelt message with Joe Biden after it was confirmed last night that the former US President was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of prostate cancer.

The US president and Melania Trump said they were so saddened to hear about Biden’s diagnosis and wished him a fast and successful recovery.

Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, was the first of the Trump family to send support to Biden.

He posted through his Instagram story, politics aside, we wish him a speedy recovery.

Biden’s office shared the diagnosis just a week after a concerning small nodule was discovered on routine examination after he complained of a rise in urinary symptoms.

‘On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, which was characterized by a Gleason score of nine with metastasis to the bone’- the message went on to read.

The score is known for measuring how cancerous cells compare to normal cells, with Biden’s score of nine delineating how he is suffering from one of the most aggressive forms of this condition.

Medical experts noted how the prostate cancer with a Gleason score of nine is the most severe grade that any patient can receive, with the metastasis to his bones adding to the gravity of the condition.
