The bishop who gained fame for calling out Donald Trump, just a day after he was elected as president of the USA, is now back again.
She’s releasing a new message despite getting threats for her calls to show support for minorities and immigrants.
The bishop returned to social media to speak up against Trump and his series of executive orders that she felt were not right.
Posting on Instagram, she explained that all those who defended her in the past and encouraged the people to be brave, kind and support one another are truly in a different place.
The video message had her talking about why she decided to step back from social media for a moment, but she wished to step back and express her gratitude for all the love she received.
She also added how it’s meant so much to her to get so many letters and phone calls and notes and gifts. It’s all about gratitude and support.
She also shared that America is a nation of goodness and support and encouragement. She hopes that the country can stand together and have the courage to learn from one another and how to be brave.
