President Trump has been honored with a precious Crown during his visit to South Korea.
The news comes just weeks after the No Kings protest, leaving some to call the American Head of State an absolute hypocrite as he boasted about the jeweled possession.
During his Asia Tour, Trump made a stop in the South Korean historic city of Gyeongju, where the country’s president presented him with the nation’s highest civilian honor.
This makes Trump the first US president to ever receive it. Other than that, he was gifted a gilded replica of an ancient Silla-era crown described as a symbol for leadership, unity, and a golden age for the strong bond between both nations.
The US President was all smiles and continued to boast about receiving the gift, adding how it was really beautiful and he would love to wear it right now.
The incident arose during a ceremony held inside a museum, which came amid broader trade and diplomatic negotiations between the countries. Right now, South Korea is seeking to lower US tariffs. It does seem like that would be a probability after the love, honor, and praise he received in the country.
