President Donald Trump has left one reporter speechless after cracking a joke about the fatal plane crash that killed 67 people.
Trump doubled down on comments regarding DEI hiring practices for the air crash in Washington DC, going as far as to dismiss claims about a query linked to an immediate visit to the site of the disaster.
This is when he pulled off a joke about swimming. Trump held an extraordinary press conference where he slammed the DEI and their woke practices at the FAA and also complained about a commercial airline and Black Hawk helicopter being at the same height during the wrong collision.
The helicopter was flying too high as per the president. While many agreed with him on that front, they felt he could have shown more sympathy for a matter involving a tragedy instead of blasting a reporter for asking if he would be visiting the site of the crash.
“I mean what are you trying to say, the crash site is water, what do you want me to do, go swimming?’- he asked.
When he was asked if there were any kind of performance issues or disciplinary actions taking place with anyone at the DCA air control tower, he denied the claims.
