President Trump has made it very clear during his recent press conference that he was not aware of any efforts made by him or his administration to have Derek Chauvin pardoned.
The while police officer was convicted for the murder of George Floyd.
Trump stated that he was shocked and never heard about any of this during his press briefing at the Oval Office.
Floyd’s May 2020 death was at the hands of Chauvin, which gave rise to protests around the globe and the arrival of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Trump ran counter to it during his attempt to get re-elected that same year.
During one of Trump’s most controversial moments back in the office, BLM protesters were tear gassed and H Street N.W was completely cleared so that the Republican president could march over to Saint John’s Church and hold a bible.
The historic yellow church was located just above the steps from the White House and had its basement nursery lit on fire during the demonstrations over Floyd’s death at the hands of Chauvin.
Musk commented on a post recently where he felt that it was certainly something to think about when another Republican called for a pardon for Chauvin as his cause of death was ruled to be due to excessive Fentanyl coupled with his comorbid conditions including cardiovascular disease.
