President Trump has issued a warning to Ukraine’s President Zelensky not to bomb the Russian capital city of Moscow, making a complete u-turn from his previous stance on the situation.
Trump pushed back on the report that he privately urged the president of Ukraine to increase the number of strikes on territory under Russian command.
Similarly, he requested Zelensky if they were able to strike Moscow and St. Petersburg. ‘No, he should not target Moscow,’ Trump shared with reporters at the White House recently. This is when he was questioned about the Ukrainian head of state.
But as per recent reports, Zelensky suggested to the president that Ukraine needed long-range precision American weapons, leading Trump to inquire about more details about the actual targets.
While the Ukrainian head of state is ready and willing to hit precise targets, many are surprised that Trump has now taken a complete u-turn on the issue and is promoting peace all of a sudden.
Many wondered what happened to his ultimatum for peace and possible issuance of tariffs in case Russia fails to pay heed to Trump’s demands. The fact that Trump had once shown support for the idea of making Russians feel pain by Ukraine targeting it and now flipping out on the idea, has some worried about what kind of propaganda is taking place.
