The Trump administration was seen on Tuesday rolling out 80,000 files linked to the assassination of President John F Kennedy.
The incident has led to a trending feeding frenzy on social media where many united to sit down and see what exactly the truth was regarding his death that took place on November 22, 1963, in Dallas.
Several of Trump’s administration officials explained to The Post how that release didn’t expect to have too many bombshells emerge from the documents.
Most of them were linked to the initial investigation of the assassination by the Warren Commission in 1964.
The commission concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald behaved alone when he shot Kennedy with the high-powered rifle from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository that overlooked the Dealey Plaza as the president’s motorcade passed on below him.
The commission’s official conclusion was a serious subject of controversy and so many theories were seen floating around implicating that the CIA, Mafia, and Cuban exiles were a part of this plan.
Trump’s administration shared how the goal of the release was to ensure maximal transparency on this front. As per the directions of the president, these were getting released to the public as promises made are promises kept.
