Super Bowl star Bryan Braman has passed away at the age of 38.
Sources from local media outlets shared how he was believed to be battling a rare, aggressive form of cancer after getting diagnosed in February, and a GoFundMe page was reportedly set up for him.
Sadly, the former Philadelphia Eagles star lost his fight this week. Braman played inside Super Bowl LII, when the Eagles ended up beating the New England Patriots in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The defensive end recorded one tackle in that high-scoring game. He happened to be playing alongside the likes of franchise icons Jason Kelce, Fletcher Cox, and Brandon Graham.
Braman also ended up blocking a punt in that same division round of the playoffs. The Super Bowl victory happened to be the star’s final game in the NFL.
His agent Sean Stellato was the first one to confirm the devastating news of his death yesterday. He is believed to have left behind his two daughters, who were 11 and 8 years old. The news has left the sports world devastated, and heartbreaking tributes were seen pouring in from all directions after it was confirmed online.
